Lindi Kernan of Alpha has been to Romania three times on missionary trips. Find out that about her and more in the "Q & A with . . . " feature in the Jan. 28 Galva News.

Name: Lindi Kernan

Age: I just turned 50 in June

Hometown: Alpha

Favorite Books: I love to read most anything that helps me to be a better person or has a good message. The Bible, books by Joyce Meyer or Dr. Gary Chapman (Five Love Languages). I recently read a great book called Same Kind of Different as Me. It’s a true story about a relationship between a homeless man and a wealthy international art dealer. Awesome lessons!

Favorite Food: I like most everything but fish! It’s not always about the food it’s about the one(s) you share it with.

One person I’d like to meet is: I can’t think of any one person, but when I get to heaven it will be a fun time getting to know everyone I missed here! There is one I would like to see again. I met a young man in Romania who was an orphan. We connected and I was able to see him the next two times I was there. He is like a son to me and I don’t know where he is right now. I would love to see him again, give him a hug, and remind him that he is loved by his adopted family.

Some advice I’ve received that I think is worth passing on to others is: “Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as you ever can.” (John Wesley)
