The Galva Arts Council will sponsor another free digital photography workshop 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 31 at the Arts Council building, 130 N. Exchange St., Galva.

The annual Galva High School All-Class Reunion will be held Saturday, Aug. 9
at The Homestead restaurant in Woodhull.

Sr. Master Sgt. Tim Foley of Galva will be the featured speaker at the 2008 Memorial Day service held in Galva Cemetery on Monday, May 26.

The swimming pool in Galva Park District will open for the 2008 season at noon Saturday, May 24, weather permitting.

Due to Memorial Day, the Galva City Council will meet on Thursday, May 22
instead of Monday, May 26. The council announced those intentions last
month.
