Name: Dennis LaVerne Anderson

Age: 58 (Why lie?)

Occupation: Manager, Cost Analysis, Sears Seating Co., Davenport, Iowa.

Other: Dennis has served five years on the Henry County Board (he is seeking election to his third term), and was Henry County Clerk/Recorder for six years, and Deputy County Clerk before that.

Favorite Music:
’70s/’80s Rock

Favorite Book: I enjoy reading sports biographies. I think my favorite book is Alive, about a rugby team that crashed in South America.

If I had one day to live any way I wished, I would: like to visit the Titanic. The Titanic was such a great ship that experienced a horrific ending. But it sits on the bottom of the ocean, wanting to still show its splendor.

I admire people who: are willing to take time to talk to me and give me their time for me to respond to them. You don’t always need to be given a lot of time, but you do need to be able to communicate your knowledge and show your respect of people.

People might be surprised to learn that I: After college, I played professional rugby for three years. I traveled to many exciting places and met many interesting people.
