Galva rock music band Motorbiscuit has advanced to the next round of the Third Annual Battle of the Bands contest at Crusens, a Peoria nightspot.
The band, which won its opening round of competition on Jan. 29, recorded the second highest score of the six band which participated in Round 2, held Friday, Feb. 5 at Crusens.
Motorbiscuit and three other bands now move to the semi-finals, with all of them playing Friday, Feb. 19. Motorbiscuit performs at 9 p.m. The top two bands from that night will advance to the finals, to be held Saturday, Feb. 20 at Crusens. The winning band will receive a $2,000 prize.
Motorbiscuit members include Kerry Cortes, Devon Peterson, Nolan Peterson, Lance Salzmann, Dan Sanudo, Matt Sanudo and Ellie Savage.
