Galva churches plan joint Lenten series of services

The Galva Ministerial Association is hosting its annual Lenten Study and Soup Supper series, beginning Feb. 25.

The series is held on Thursday evenings, beginning at 6 p.m. with the worship service, followed by soup and fellowship.

The theme is “Sayings from the Cross.”

Feb. 25 - Galva Congregational Church, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

March 4 - First United Methodist Church, “I thirst.”

March 11 - Grace United Methodist Church, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with Me in paradise.”

March 18 - St. John Catholic Church, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.”

March 25 - TBA
