The 34th annual meeting of the Galva Senior Citizens Center was held March 10, with Director Carolyn Ossian offering her annual report.

Mrs. Ossian thanked all of the hostesses for all of their time  at the center, making it possible for her to have time for herself.

She also thanked Evie Hier for doing all shopping, attorney Mike Massie and Vicki Massie for all of their counsel to the center free of charge, Harold Smith for mowing and DeRollo Kelly for taking care of the trash weekly.

Mrs. Ossian noted there are several projects to be done in 2010, including painting the paneling in the rear entrance, obtaining a new sign, and painting the front door.

The audit, which found everything in order, was read by Susan Bridson.
