The Canton Ingersoll wrestling team improved to 3-0 in dual meet competition with a 65-42 victory over Orion Wednesday evening at the CHS South Gym.

“I’d just have to say that I’m very proud of this team so far this season,” said Canton Ingersoll coach Brian Wilcoxen. “We graduated 14 kids to the high school from last year, so we knew that we would struggle a little this season. So far, the kids have stepped up to the challenge.

“There’s a lot of wrestling left this year, so we need to just keep our heads in the game,” he added.
