MACOMB — High-efficiency mechanicals have been placed on the roof of The Lamoine behind parapet walls, according to Gale Cerabona, marketing director for Lamoine Group, LLC. This move marks the first time air conditioning has been installed in the building. Formerly known as Lamoine Hotel, the structure was built in 1926. Renovations by owner Chris Trotter have included the recent completion of framing, heating, plumbing and cooling. Final insulation and drywall will be installed in May.
Cerabona said The Lamoine is expected to open this fall. Those interested in the retirement community can email, make an appoint by calling 1-855-LAMOINE or visit the pre-opening marketing office behind The Lamoine on Carroll Street. The Lamoine boasts 23 assisted living and 24 memory care private residences secured on a rental basis. The retirement community also will feature a grand dining room, private dining room, ballroom and a curbside restaurant that is open to the public.
“Unique programs will engage residents at The Lamoine,” Cerabona said.
