Bishop Hill Tomten walk through town, looking through windows, peeking around corners and looking a little mischievous.

Tourists love taking photographs of the Tomten. Each shift is two hours and organizers provide the outfits — red caps, grey sweatshirts, tunics and pants, which they wear over their clothes.

If anyone is interested in having their child be a Tomten, call Todd DeDecker at the Steeple Building Museum at (309) 927-3899 or email bhha @mymctc. net.

The child will receive a $5 gift certificate from the Colony Store for helping out. Light refreshments also are provided for the children.
