Carol Jean Bradshaw

Carol Jean Bradshaw, 60, of Homer, passed away at 11:24 p.m. on Jan. 16, 2018 at Provena United Samaritans Hospital in Danville.

All services will be private. Kirby Funeral Home, 708 S. Main Street, Homer is handling arrangements.

Carol was born June 19, 1957 in Kewanee, the daughter of James and Darlene Patty Warner. She married Charles Bradshaw on Sept. 16, 1979 in Kewanee. He survives.

Survivors also include sons Anthony (Tammy) Bradshaw of Fairmount and Jonathon (Hugh) Bradshaw of Allerton; two grandchildren Gabrielle and Tristan Bradshaw; brother Steve Warner of Sapulpa, Okla.; and sister Linda Schwartzkopf of Galva.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Christopher James Bradshaw.

Carol was owner and editor of “Our Town” newspaper in Galva. She retired from truck driving and was in food service for many years. Her hobbies included gardening, auctions, bingo, camping, cards, fishing and bird watching. She was a Cubs and Bears fan. She loved spending time with her family and watching her great nephew play high school football.
