Chris Gavin, president and CEO of Midwest Bank, has announced Chad Morse as the new president of Porter-Hay Insurance.

Chris Gavin, president and CEO of Midwest Bank, has announced Chad Morse as the new president of Porter-Hay Insurance.

Morse joined Chuck Hay Agency in 1997 after attending Western Illinois University and serving in the National Guard from 1990-1996. He currently resides in Galva with his wife, Amy, and children, Lexi and Cayden. 

He has served as secretary of the Planning Commission for the City of Galva, finance officer for American Legion Post #45, and board member for the Economic Development Council, City of Galva, West Central Illinois QDMA, and the OSF Health Insurance Advisory Board. 

Morse has more than 20 years of experience and played an integral part of the successful merger of Porter Insurance and Chuck Hay Insurance in 2016. He currently works out of both the Galesburg and Galva office locations.
