Mason Kaiser of Galva and Austin Batterson of ROWVA-Williamsfield have been selected to play in the annual Kiwanis Club of Canton all-star basketball games Saturday, March 24.

Mason Kaiser of Galva and Austin Batterson of ROWVA-Williamsfield have been selected to play in the annual Kiwanis Club of Canton all-star basketball games Saturday, March 24.

Kaiser and Batterson are teammates on the North boys squad, and Ethan Peterson of Galva has been selected as an alternate for the team.

The girls all-star game tips at 6 p.m. at Canton’s Alice ingersoll Gym, followed by the boys at 8 p.m. Tickets at the door are $5 for adults, $3 for students six through high school age, and children age five and under are free of charge.

The 25 schools and co-ops with players participating are Abingdon-Avon, Bushnell-Prairie City, Canton, Dunlap, Elmwood, Farmington, Galva, Havana, Illini Bluffs, Illini Central, Illini West, Kewanee, Wethersfield, Lewistown, Limestone, Macomb, Midwest Central, Monmouth-Roseville, North Fulton, Pekin, PORTA/A-C Central, ROWVA-Williamsfield, Tremont and South Fulton.
