Keith Anderson, 85, of Gaines, Mich., passed away March 29, 2018, after two years of failing health.
He spent his last eight years dividing his time between Gaines, Mich., and Punta Gorda, Fla., where he met his final partner in life, Elsabeth. She took loving care of him. Before his health failed they spent several years traveling and visiting family.
Keith is survived by one sister, Virginia Collinson of Galva; six children, Dan and Janeen of Olympia, Wash., David and Gloria of Albany, Ore., Doug and Patty of Whidby Island, Wash., Steven of Olympia, Wash., Richard of Oak Harbor, Wash., and Jennifer and David Kihano of San Diego, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Keith served in the U.S. Army in the Korean Conflict from 1951-53. He and his family moved from Galva to Shelton, Wash., in 1964 where he was employed by Simpson Plywood Mill until his retirement.
Graveside services will be held in Olympia, Wash., on May 19, 2018. Memorials may be directed to Galva Boy Scout Troop 143.
