The Galva News has been advised of two scams which are being attempted against area residents.
One scam involves coupons offering free Doritos brand chips for one year. A sheet with six counterfeit coupons are offered. The Frito Lay website addresses the issue.
The other scam involves a caller providing “service checks” on credit card accounts. The caller requests the expiration date on card, then attempts to get the card number.
