Two sentenced for their parts in meth making

Co-defendants in a Galva meth lab case pleaded guilty in Henry County Circuit Court on Thursday.

John Bengston, 49, and Tammy Hagerty, 33, pleaded guilty to Class X felony aggravated unlawful participation in a meth lab with a child present and four counts of Class 3 felony meth-related child endangerment. The charges allege the crimes occurred on or about June 24.

A third co-defendant, Jennifer Jaco, will have a hearing Nov. 19.
