The 13-year-old girl charged with conspiracy to commit murder in last year’s two shootings at a Galva home entered an Alford admission on Friday. She was adjudicated a delinquent and made a ward of the court.

The girl will be under the guardianship of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, transferring from Mary Davis Home in Galesburg to be placed in juvenile foster care at a Peoria-based facility. She will remain on juvenile probation for 36 months until Aug. 21, 2012.

The teen was also ordered to pay a $10 monthly probation fee, attend school, follow court services, obtain a mental health evaluation, pay the costs of juvenile detention and have no contact with either of the co-defendants, Patrick Patterson and Angela Daum.

At the end of the hearing, she gave the victim, Robert Daum, a hug.

The juvenile’s admission was to two counts of Class 1 felony conspiracy to commit murder for separate incidents in April and October at the same home. Several other charges were dropped.
