The Galva High School dance/drill team will return to state finals competition March 13 after qualifying with an outstanding performance at Downers Grove North High School on Feb. 27.
The team, which has won several Illinois Drill Team Association championships, will return to state after registering an 85.4-point performance Saturday in Downers Grove. The team performed its “Mary Poppins” Musical Theatre routine to surpass the 80 points needed to qualify.
