Galva High School won first place in the Class A Musical Theatre Category of an Illinois Drill Team Association regional competition held Saturday at Clinton High School.
The GHS dance/drill team performed its “Mary Poppins” routine, registering 77.3 points - three points better than it scored in a regional contest held earlier this year.
Team members include senior Shannon Clark; junior Kayla Stewart; sophomores Tessa Boston, Hannah Nordstrom, Haley Hardy, Lindsey Wexell and Brittanie Weida; and freshmen Taylor Morland, Kylie Martin, Emily DeMay, Rachel Holt, Skylar Savage and Jonelle Humphrey.
