Wow! I cannot believe it is March already! Who would have thought time could fly by so fast. I am in full swing of my second semester now with new classes and new professors.

I cannot believe that my freshman year is quickly coming to a close, and I am one year closer to having to be a REAL citizen! I have to make so many decisions right now that are beginning to shape my future.

You would think having to declare your major that leads you to your career would be more than a button. Yes, there was much hesitation on that click! A friend and I shared with each other that it will be okay for now because we might have a midlife crisis in which we can restart! We have decided that I will become an animal cop if I have a midlife crisis!

So much in life is unexpected and you do not know what to do most of the time. Here at college I have been faced with challenges in which I do not always know the best way to handle things. Many times I do not handle road blocks the best way that I can, but I backtrack, correct if I can, and learn from my mistake.

One thing is for sure: Never, ever take your parents or family for granted. Even in the hardest times they are there no matter what you say to them. My family is what keeps me going and keeps me up to beat. By the way, did I mention family is not always blood-related?!
