The Galva School Board expects to discuss the status of Mid-County athletic co-ops and an unrelated request to name the Galva High School gym after former GHS standout Rich Falk when it meets Monday night.

The board, which released its meeting agenda today, also lists on the agenda plans to accept one staff person's resignation, hire a teachers aide and take action on another current or potential employee.

The meeting, which begins 7 p.m. in the high school library, will be preceded by a public hearing at 6:55 p.m. in the library. The hearing regards Galva School District's intent to issue $540,000 in working cash bonds.

The public is invited to both meetings.
