Snow could be on its way to Galva area

The National Weather Service is saying the Galva area could get up to two inches of snow tomorrow, if a suspected storm develops.

In fact, the NWS has issued a Winter Storm Watch, saying areas north of Route 80 up to Route 20 could get 4 to 8 inches of snow tomorrow.

The current NWS forecast for the Galva area is:

 

This Afternoon: A 30 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 51. West wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Tonight: A 40 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35. West wind around 5 mph becoming south.

Thursday: Snow, possibly mixed with rain. High near 41. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of around 2 inches.

Thursday Night: A chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday: A chance of rain and snow showers. Cloudy and breezy, with a high near 38. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy and breezy, with a low around 23.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 35.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 24.

Sunday: A slight chance of rain. Partly sunny and breezy, with a high near 45.

Sunday Night: A chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30.

Monday: A chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 38.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 21.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 32.
