Lineup of Vespers musicians and singers rolled out

“The Hallelujah Chorus,” a piano-organ duet, will begin the annual Christmas Candlelight Vesper Service of the Galva Congregational Church on Sunday, Dec. 20, at 5 p.m.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The bell choir will play “Carillon for a Joyous Day, “The Birthday of a King,” “The Holly and the Ivy,” “We Three Kings” and “Away in a Manger.” They will also accompany congregational carol singing.

A vocal ensemble of Jean Mann, Joyce Baskovic, Rick Mack and Bob Baskovic will sing “Shepherds, Do You Sleep?” Joining them for choir anthems will be Cathy Ren, Don Hagaman, Bob Curry and Teri, Matt and Ron Pankau. This choir will present “Another Silent Night” and “Christmas is Coming,” joined by Lissette Martinez, percussion.
