An open house-shower was held Saturday in the side room at Genisio’s Bar in Woodhull for Barb and Tex Lutrell, whose house, its contents and two vehicles were destroyed by a Jan. 6 fire.

The home was located one block south of Route 17 in town.

The couple has insurance but the fundraiser was held to help replace household items.

The couple is registered at Menards, Bergner’s and Target.

The event was planned by friends and family of the couple.
