A pep rally will be held at 7 p.m. tonight at Galva High School, to show suppor to the GHS boys basketball team as it heads into the Class 1A Abingdon Regional tomorrow night.
The GHS pep band will perform tonight at the rally, held in the gym.
Admission is free.
The Wildcats will play Wethersfield at 8:10 p.m. in Abingdon tomorrow night. The Flying Geese beat Annawan 52-46 last night to advance to tomorrow night's game. It'll be the third game between the Wildcats and Geese in the past three weeks, with Galva having won the first two meetings.
A fan bus to tomorrow night's game will be available to community members and students alike. Sign up in the GHS office. Community members' cost is $2; junior-senior high students ride for free.
