Gene F. Pruett, age 84, of Galesburg, formerly of Galva, died on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 1:40 a.m. at Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville.
Graveside funeral services are 11 a.m. Friday, June 5 in Knoxville Cemetery, with military rites conducted by Ralph M. Noble American Legion Post 285 of Galesburg. Rev. Milton Marquith will officiate. There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be made to the Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville.
