Rosalie N. Funke, 59, of Bishop Hill, passed away Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009 at her winter home in Mission, Texas, after a lengthy illness.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Galva, with Rev. Msgr. Richard P. Funke as celebrant. A private interment will be in Bishop Hill Cemetery. There was no visitation.

Memorials are suggested to masses or the Cancer Research Center in San Antonio, Texas.
