Margaret Martin, 90, of Galva, a long-time resident of LaFayette, passed at 11:12 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Proctor Hospital, Peoria, after a week of illness.

Visitation and funeral services for Margaret will be held at LaFayette United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 20, Pastor Walter Miller officiating. Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, with the funeral service starting at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens, Kewanee. After the burial, all are invited to gather for fellowship and food provided by the LaFayette United Methodist Women at LaFayette United Methodist Fellowship Hall.

Memorial contributions may be made to LaFayette United Methodist Church or to the Margaret Martin Estate.
