Paul M. Stauffer, 85, of Knoxville, Tenn., formerly of Altona, died Friday, June 19, 2009 at St. Mary’s Residential Hospice.
A celebration of Paul’s life and faith was held 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel in Galesburg, Curtis Bledsoe officiating. Visitation was 5 to 7 p.m. Burial was Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Galesburg.
Paul’s wishes were that instead of flowers, any memorials be made to the Galesburg Rescue Mission, 435 E. 3rd Street, Galesburg, IL 61401 or Berean Christian School, 2329 Prosser Road, Knoxville, TN 37914.
