    Chris Gibson’s halftime talk hit home as his Gardner-South Wilmington charges exploded for 20 points in the third period en route to a 58-45 victory over host Dwight in a nonconference boys’ basketball tilt Friday night.
    The Trojans scorched the nets for 18 points in the second quarter to take a 29-24 lead after falling behind 12-11 in the opening period. The Panthers then outscored DTHS 20-6 in the third for a 44-35 lead as the game entered the fourth quarter.
    Dakota Wahl led Dwight with 13 points and Andrew Curl and Morgan Fritz each chipping in 9 points. Cal Schultz netted 8 points with Cole Hahn and Dane Rodosky each scoring 3 points.
    Nathan Wozniak led GSW with 18 points. Walker Eutsey and Jaylon Sims each had 12 points.
