Pee Wee squad falls a little short

Host Galva2 lost 4-2 to the visiting Williamsfield Bombers on Thursday, May 21, in a Pee Wee League game played at Galva Park District.

Josh Jeffries singled sharply in the fifth with one out, bringing the tying run to the plate. But he was left stranded by consecutive strikeouts by Bombers’ pitcher Zimmerman.

In the loss, Trey Kazubowski pitched five innings, allowing six hits and striking out seven.
