The roster for Galva2, a pee wee baseball team, is comprised of 8- and 9-year-olds.

Pitchers are Trey Kazubowksi, Andy Schupbach, Ryan Russell, and Austin Harper. Kazubowski and Schupbach make up most of the team appearances thus far. Kazubowski is the team leader in wins and saves.

Infielders include Hunter Barrett, Seth Bainbridge, Austin Celus, and Michael DeSmit.
Bainbridge is a solid glove at first base, especially on game day.

Outfielders on the squad are Josh Jeffries, Austin Rochelle, Damon Koga, Kayle Gray and Brett Wexell. All first-year players, the outfield is full of hustle and tremendous effort. Galva2 outfield has not allowed a single home run through seven games this season.

This year’s squad returned Bainbridge, Barrett, Harper, Kazubowski, and Russell from a strong finishing team in 2008 even after a heart-breaking 4-3 loss in the first round of the Alpha Tournament.

“If every individual would work on his own skills while supporting each other in a cohesive manner, our team will have a successful season,” said Coach Mike Yepsen, who supplied the information for this report.
