Rice taking roundball talents to CSC

Taylor Rice, a guard who graduated ROWVA High School earlier this month, has signed to play at Carl Sandburg College next season.
Rice will bring a strong defensive presence to CSC. She averaged 7.5 points and 3.4 steals for the Tigers last season.
“The thing that stood out with her was her ability to guard,” Charger coach Mike Bailey said of Rice.
“She’s a scrapper on the defensive end and that fits the personality of our program.”
