Two-pronged attack sinks Ridgewood boys

Bryce Ball scored 21 points and Matt Sagona sank six threes and finished with 20 to lead the Knoxville boys basketball team past Ridgewood 90-67 on Saturday, Jan. 9.

The Blue Bullets (6-10) exploded for 24 points in the first quarter and took a commanding 46-24 halftime lead. Knoxville continued to apply pressure in the second half with 34-points in the third quarter for an 80-42 lead.

Ridgewood (2-12) rallied for 25 points in the fourth quarter but it was not enough.

Ridgewood was led by Ben Smith with 16 points and Tyler Nimrick with 13.
