27 x 2 adds up to ROWVA sinking

The one-two punch of Brett Anderson and Colton Wood tallied 54 points ? 27 apiece ? to lead Mercer County to a 79-68 win over ROWVA at Aledo on Friday night, Jan. 22.

Mercer County (7-10) took advantage of a 21-point first quarter and scored 22 in both the third and fourth quarters to had the Tigers their first Lincoln Trail Conference loss of the season.

Kenny Fogerty and Trevor McCarthy scored 14 points each to lead ROWVA (11-8, 2-1). Matt Shepherd chipped in 11 points and Andrew Kovacik finished with 10 for the Tigers.
