Illini basketball player Devin Langford has surgery on broken finger

CHAMPAIGN -- Illini freshman Devin Langford suffered a broken ring finger on his left hand during basketball practice Monday. Langford, a versatile prospect who was eyed to play any position but center, will miss four to six weeks after surgery Wednesday.

Langford also didn't play during the Italian exhibition tour because of a deep thigh bruise.
