Defending champs up to test

This foursome of (from left) Danny Norberg, Tyler Bates, Coley Anderson and Jerod Carlson successfully defended the title they won last year in the championship flight of the 2009 Galva Athletic Boosters golf fund-raiser, held Saturday at Kewanee Dunes. They registered a team total of 63 in the preferred ball event. Winning the A flight was the foursome of Pam King, Julie Ericson, Julie Buck and Bonnie Ficek, with a 75. Topping the couples category were Kurt and Carrie Gustafson, and Larry and Rosalie Schmidt. Eighty golfers participated.
