Annawan outscored Ridgewood 33-29 in the second half to pick up a come-from-behind boys varsity basketball win, 71-69 at Annawan on Friday, Jan. 22.
The Spartans had a two-point lead at halftime but couldn’t hold on in the Lincoln Trail Conference game.
Tyler Nimrick scored a game-high 23 for Ridgewood. Brian Norberg added 22 and Clayton Carr chipped in 12 for the Spartans (2-15, 0-3).
Annawan moved to 9-11 and 2-2 on the season.
