Four AlWood eighth grade boys have returned from the IESA state track meet with their second state title in as many years.
Dylan Schultz, Elisha MCreary, Jacob Peterson and Matthew Welch won the state title in the 4x400 relay with a 3:51.85 clocking at the IESA state track meet in East Peoria on Saturday.
The team, which also took third in the 4x100 relay, won that event in last year’s state meet.
