Galva, AlWood-Cambridge and ROWVA aren't being represented at this year’s IHSA Class 1A State Track and Field Meet, after no athletes from any of those three teams qualified at the Class 1A Sherrard Sectional on May 22.
ROWVA tallied nine points in the meet to finish in 11th place, followed immediately by Galva with eight points. AlWood-Cambridge did not score.
Top finishers for Galva Trevor Foley and Harry Hergert, who finished fifth in the 1600-meter and 200-meter runs, respectively. Spencer Clark added a sixth in the shot put.
