Forty-one AlWood High School students graduated May 23 during ceremonies at the school in Woodhull. It was the 62nd commencement in school history.

Dana DeSutter, president of the graduating class, offered welcome comments to open the ceremony.

The AlWood Concert Band performed “Thunder.”

Matthew Spivey gave the salutatorian address.

The AlWood Concert Band, under the direction of Robert Fornander, performed “Pomp and Circumstance” as the processional, and “Throne Room Music” for the recessional.

Serving as junior ushers were Natalie Nelson and Haleigh Garrett.

A list of all graduates is in the June 4 Galva News.
