The Galva High School boys track team held an awards banquet at Happy Joe’s in Kewanee on Thursday, handing out several honors.
Junior distance runner Derek Foley was named Most Valuable. Luke North won the Coaches Award. Rob Peters was named Most Improved. Donny Elston collected Most Valuable Field honors. Taking home Captains Awards were Trevor Foley and Harry Hergert.

Juniors – Sage Basler, Jesse Humphrey, Derek Foley
Sophomores – Kile Mott, Donny Elston, Brad Moehring, Kevin O’Riley
