New full-time police officer Chad Goff was introduced to the Galva City Council and public at the council's monthly meeting April 27.

New full-time police officer Chad Goff was introduced to the Galva City Council and public at the council's monthly meeting April 27.

Goff replaces Chris Edwards, who resigned from full-time work but will work some part-time shifts.

Goff, who resides at Oak Run, graduated from Abingdon High School.

He has worked for the Knox County Sheriff's Department (in the jail), Warren County Sheriff's Department and part-time since November for the Galva Police Department.
