Olney Cubs pick up one
point win at Teutopolis,

 Olney and Teutopolis

continued to add to the

friendly rivalry on the

hardwood as the Olney

traveled to Teutopolis for

middle school boys basketball


A closely contested ball

game was treated to the

fans of both teams as Olney

looked to continue a

hot start to the 2017-2018


The Cubs were playing

catchup after the host

Teutopolis jumped ahead

of Olney in the opening

period of play 13-7.

The Cubs dropped two

more points in the second

and was looking up to

Teutopolis at the half 19-

11, and needing a spark to

get back into the ball


Olney found a spark in

the third period doubling

up Teuotopolis 8-4 and

trimming the gap down to

23-19 heading into the

fourth frame.

Olney would complete

the come from behind win

and take down the host

squad with a thrilling

point win on the road.

The Cubs outlasted Teutopolis

and picked up the

win, 30-29.

In the seventh grade action,

Olney dropped its

second game of the year in

the seventh grade season
