Ronald Kitch, 73, of Industry passed on Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, at his home. He was born Dec. 24, 1943, in Macomb, son of Don and Maxine (Norris) Kitch. He married Marilyn (Meyers) Kitch on Oct. 27, 1963.
His three brothers, Rick Kitch of Polson, Mont., Randy Kitch of Littleton, Ill., and Rex Kitch of Bushnell, and his sister, Marsha (Kitch) Carnahan of Colchester survive him.
He also leaves behind his three children: Kimberly (Kitch) Tones of Ashland, Mo., and Christopher Kitch and Curtis Kitch, both of Industry; three grandchildren: Rachael (Kitch) Price, Katelyn Tones and Casey Kitch; and two great grandchildren, Abby and Hayden Price. He was preceded in death by his parents and Marilyn.
Ron served honorably in the United States Army and retired from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Ron enjoyed racing TQs in his younger days and was a race fan to the end.
A celebration of Ron’s life will be held Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, at the VFW Post 1921 located at 1200 E. Jefferson Street, Macomb, IL from 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
